For categories where halal certification exists (food, cosmetics): yes. For artisan products (tasbih, books) we apply our own 3-gates methodology. Read more at halal-compliance.
What does the Barakah Score mean?
A score of 0-5 per product across 4 criteria: halal certification, fair-source, maker ethics, and packaging. The average is shown on the product page. Higher = stricter through our curation.
Is the Barakah Score externally verified?
Halal certificates: yes, by the recognised certifying body. Other criteria: internal, but according to a documented methodology. We plan an external audit in 2026.
